Why would anyone move from California to Michigan?
We were asked that question a lot when we moved here not too long ago. We have a long answer, but you're just killing time reading the menu cover, so here's our short answer.
Why not move to West Michigan? Could there be a better place to raise a family? Great schools, safe neighborhoods, open spaces and fresh air. What does California have? Great PR to hide their rotten schools, daily drive-by shootings, freeway gridlock, outrageous housing costs and yellow air. And don't even get us started on earthquakes! Yeah, it snows here. We knew that. Beth grew up in Saginaw and I'm from Iowa. We know all about snow. It's used for skiing, sledding and making snowmen with your kids.
This is a great place to live. And we feel privileged to call it home... for good.
